The Texas Supreme Court issues a Preliminary Approval to Remove the ABA Monopoly in Law School access to the Texas Bar!
Big News in the #MeritOverMonopoly Access to the Bar Effort
After receiving many comments on the matter, including my PA Supreme Court Petition, the Texas Supreme Court Justices have decided to remove the ABA’s monopoly concerning which law school graduates can access the bar, and will likely issue further guidance in the coming months. Great progress for the third-largest bar in the country.
We need more of this and are awaiting the PA Supreme Court’s decision in my case. Merit Over Monopoly must prevail. Florida, Ohio, and Tennessee are all now considering the removal of the ABA monopoly as a pathway to access the bar, joining CA, CT, IN, NC, UT, WY, and other states.
